With over 20 years of experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I have had the honor of supporting individuals and families across a wide range of behavioral health, social work, and counseling settings. I am deeply committed to helping people navigate life’s challenges and transitions with clarity, resilience, and confidence. Creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered is at the core of my work.
My therapeutic style is warm, engaging, and collaborative. I utilize evidence-based, client-centered, and strength-based approaches that are thoughtfully tailored to meet each individual’s unique needs. I believe therapy should feel supportive yet motivating, encouraging growth while honoring each person’s lived experience. Above all, I approach my work with kindness, cultural sensitivity, respect, and compassion.
I believe meaningful change occurs when individuals are supported in recognizing their strengths and given the tools to build upon them. My approach is rooted in hope, encouragement, and active partnership throughout the therapeutic process. I am dedicated to working alongside clients as they develop insight, overcome obstacles, and move toward healthier, more fulfilling lives.
Taking the first step toward change requires courage. I am committed to walking with you through this journey, offering guidance, support, and encouragement every step of the way. I look forward to partnering with you as you work toward healing, growth, and lasting positive change.

I have dedicated my counseling career to serving others and supporting individuals through life’s challenges with compassion and understanding. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Morehouse College and my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University. I bring over 15 years of experience working with Veterans, including extensive work within the Department of Veterans Affairs, where I supported individuals navigating complex emotional and psychological concerns.
I understand that seeking counseling can feel overwhelming, especially when it involves sharing some of the most painful or vulnerable parts of your life. In our work together, we will explore the patterns, dynamics, and experiences that may be contributing to feelings of distress, sadness, or dissatisfaction. My goal is to help you rediscover your strengths, build motivation, and develop effective strategies to manage unwanted emotions and move forward with confidence.
My therapeutic approach integrates Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Motivational Interviewing, tailored to meet each client’s unique needs. I utilize a strength-based, multicultural framework that promotes insight, resilience, and emotional growth. I have experience working with individuals facing depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, personality disorders, and behavioral concerns in children. I specialize in supporting Black men, Veterans, adolescents, young adults, and individuals from diverse racial and ethnic backgrounds. I take pride in building strong, trusting therapeutic relationships that foster meaningful and lasting change.
