Our Practice Philosophy

​

Bigger Picture AZ and its clinical team are based in Arizona and bring a
wealth of knowledge to the counseling setting. In addition to working in the mental
health field, we have experience working in the hospital setting, schools, home health,
hospice, Department of Veteran Affairs, nonprofits, juvenile drug court/justice system,
and more. Our counselors have supported and advocated for individuals from all walks
of life.

Our counselors understand how the environment can impact mental health.
With this understanding, we offer community collaborations to help eliminate systemic
barriers such as short-term financial stressors, lack of knowledge of health and mental
health conditions, etc.

We understand that addressing the social determinants of health
can get us a long way towards better mental health outcomes for our clients. Our
counselors have a holistic and integrative approach to address “The Bigger Picture” to
support the client in reaching their therapeutic goals.
